Black MYSTERY Month

In celebration of Black History Month, ghettoGEEKS looked around...and then asked the question, "What the hell are celebrating?"

No matter where you are in America, or the world, chances are it's kinda rough....so, we've decided to commit ourselves to the interrogative posture and ask QUESTIONS this year for Black History Month. These are questions that may provide stimulation, motivation, education, or further interrogation...but in any regard, we hope that it may add value to your 2010.

Without further ado, here is our attempt to omit MYSTERY from the HISTORY:

.) Why isn't John Griffin's Black Like Me required reading in American high schools?
.) Why don't Historically Black Colleges and Universities implement more aggressive Study Abroad agendas?
.) How much of an ACTUAL effect do the National Black Pan-Hellenic Fraternal organizations have on the lives of the Working Poor and the Destitute?
.) When will White people collectively conquer "White Guilt" and honestly engage in meaningful "Buberian dialogue" regarding race relations?
.) Why are Niggaz STILL Scared of Revolution?
.) Why I gotta be a "sell-out" just because I gotta Asian girlfriend?
.) Can Black churches start disseminating true/transparent fiscal reports to all their members?
.) WHAT in the HELL is Sarah Palin talking about?
.) Why don't we do away with the REPRESENTATIVE Democracy and the need for an electoral college, and use technology to garner in a POPULAR Democracy and cast ballots at ATM machines?
.) How come the Tupac Shakur murder is still unsolved?
.) Why doesn't Barack Obama have any sons? Would have still been elected if he had one?
.) Would the legalization of Marijuana help improve race relations?
.) Why do older Black people talk about the "wild, ignorant, ghetto youth" as if they are not related to them in any way?
.) Why do too many Historically Black Colleges and Universities purposefully, strategically, and consistently under serve their student populations?
.) Why do Democrats and Republicans fight and bicker publically, but they both manage to spend HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of dollars on unsuccessful wars over the last decade?
.) The estimated costs needed to end poverty in America is 50 billion dollars; why not spend "war" money on this project?
.) Why did General Motors "kill" the Electric Car?
.) Why is it that Homosapien has been engaging in heterosexual and homosexual intercourse for millions of years without AIDS being a problem? Then, from out-of-the-blue, the 1980s gives us AIDS. And now, worldwide, why is AIDS a predominantly Black problem?
.) What do Martin King, Malcolm X, Steve Biko, Bob Marley, and Tupac Shakur have in common?
.) Why does the greater Black community continually tell Black youth to "go to college" as if a magical PromiseLand is waiting after they get degrees...when this is obviously not the case? What do the youth need IN ADDITION to the degrees?
.) Why haven't you picked up your copies of Before Barack there was Tupac and Bustin' Gats through Spittin' Raps?

If you have any answers to these questions...or have any questions of your own, feel free to share.
