After looking through the sight and viewing this video, I find it interesting how informal it is. In other words, I would not usually think of curse words as an affective means to reach an audience and to try and convince them of one's point. However, I must agree that today's society is more informal. Does this mean though, that we are allowed to relax our language? I would be interested to conduct a serve to see how much people are swayed one way or the other, or how little such words affect listeners at all. Would the point be as strong, stronger, or as persuasive without the use of derogatory language?
I do agree with many of your points, but this idea just came to me, as I am not one who really uses such language in my own vocabulary.
